SMARTI WS 1000 Lumber Mega Scanner X-Ray installed at SOLIS TIMBER in Slovenia. Machine supports four sided optical scanning and x-ray strength grading of lumber. Marking station was also installed after the scanning process.
Scanner is used for defect detection, cutting optimization and sorting in different strength grades. SOLIS TIMBER is now able to sort lumber in various strength grades and then optimally cut it for finger jointing application.
